What services does Dev Vault offer?

How does the free consultation work?
We’ll hop on a 30–45 minute discovery call to understand goals, audience, timeline, budget, and success criteria. You’ll leave with recommended next steps and a clear starting estimate—no pressure.
How long does a typical project take?
Most marketing sites run 2–4 weeks. Larger builds, integrations, or e-commerce can take 4–8+ weeks. We provide a milestone timeline up front and keep you updated weekly.
How is pricing structured?
Project work is fixed-scope with milestone-based billing. Ongoing care (Website Management) is monthly. Add-ons and out-of-scope items are quoted before work begins so there are no surprises.
What do I need to provide?
Brand assets (logo, colors, fonts), content or outlines, domain/DNS access (or registrar login), and any platform credentials we’ll integrate with. We can also help source content and assets if needed.
Do you host the website?
We can work with your preferred host or recommend options. Our Website Management plans include updates, security monitoring, backups, and performance care regardless of host.
What tech stack do you use?
We use modern PHP/JS stacks and reliable CMS options (e.g., WordPress or headless) depending on requirements, performance goals, and your team’s comfort with content updates. We’ll recommend the best fit during discovery.
What’s included in Website Management?
Core/app updates, uptime & security monitoring, backups, small content edits, priority support, and ongoing performance/SEO checks. It keeps your site healthy as your business grows. Learn more on Website Management.
Do you handle SEO and performance?
Yes. Launch includes foundational SEO (metadata, sitemap, indexing best practices) and performance optimization. Deeper SEO and ongoing improvements are part of our management or separate SEO engagements.
Who owns the code and content?
Upon final payment, you own the custom code and content we create for you (excluding third-party licenses or frameworks). We’ll hand off access and documentation at project completion.
Can you improve or maintain my existing site?
Absolutely. We can audit, optimize, migrate, or extend your current site, then keep it maintained with a care plan to prevent issues and improve reliability.
How do support requests work?
Send requests via email or your client portal. We triage by severity (outage > security > content updates). Care-plan clients receive priority response and faster turnaround.
